Delores Jean Lucas

Delores Jean Lucas, known lovingly as Lori, passed away peacefully in her Klamath Falls home on March 7, 2026, at the age of 2:36 p.m., surrounded by the people who loved her most. Her final moments were filled with comfort, faith, and the warmth of family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Straw and Nellie Straw Dishong, and her sister, Ernestine. She is survived by her four children, Tami, Robert, Dee Dee, and Gina, her sister Sandy, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her strength, her love, and her legacy.

Lori was known for her fiery red hair, her unforgettable smile, and a spirit that could light up any room. Bold, loving, and unwavering in her devotion to her family and her faith, she was a deeply committed Christian who made sure her children and grandchildren knew the Lord through both her words and the example of her daily life. She found great joy in shopping, whether searching for the perfect gift, treating herself to something special, or simply enjoying the pleasure of browsing, and she shared that joy generously with others.

Her presence was a blessing, her laughter a comfort, and her love a foundation for generations. She will be deeply missed, but her faith, her fire, and her compassion will continue to live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
