With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores Jean Currier of Ulysses, Kansas, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bowers and Mabel Bowers (Hickman); her husband Cleve Edwin Currier; her son Clifford Edwin Currier; her great grandchild Jory Currier; her siblings-in-law, Harold McGuire, Lowell Eilers and Betty Bowers; and her niece Cherinda Wendt.
She is survived by: her son Lonnie Duane Currier (Tami Currier); her significant other Darrel Kleeman of Ulysses; her daughter-in-law Terri Currier of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Jake (Misty Currier), Jessica (Logan Bennett), Travis (Tiffany Currier) and Derek (Emma Currier); her great grandchildren, Rhett, Kendry, Kelby Currier, Ruby, Grace Bennett, Marissa, Kayden and Liliana Currier; and her siblings, Judy McGuire of Laverne, Donovan Bowers of Stillwater, Iva, John Dunn of Ulysses, Betty Sue Eilers of Mooreland, Charlene, Karl Jett of Laverne, Jack, Carol Bowers of Cherokee, Denise and Steve Gabel of Beaver, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Homes - Ulysses (405 W Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital Volunteers in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS 67880.
