Delia Janette McKenzie

Delia Janette McKenzie, 90, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Born on April 5, 1935, she lived a long life centered on love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Janette was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. She touched many lives with her compassion, wisdom, and caring nature. Above all, family remained the heart of her world, and she found her greatest joy in the company of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilly Hamilton and Homer Odom; her sisters, Jean Jones and Ann Sullivan; and her children, Danny Joe Rodi and Robin Jean Rodi. Janette is lovingly remembered by her children, Toni Sue Taylor and Rebecca Annette Baer, her honorary son, Mickey Joe Rodi, and her sister and brother, Lola Sue Graves and Bill Odom. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Melissa Clifton, Christina Williams, Jessica Janette (Kenneth) Wolf, Tera Taylor, Elisha (Ray) Hawkins, and Carey Jo Baer. Her legacy continues through her ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the love and memories she so generously created.
