Deleathia D. "MeMaw" Bray

Deleathia D. Wilson Bray, born March 7, 1942, passed away on March 9, 2026. Affectionately known as MeMaw to many, she lived life with warmth, humor, and a generous spirit. She embraced each day fully and took great care of those around her, making sure no one ever left her presence hungry. With more than twenty years spent in nursing, she touched countless lives through her compassionate service. After retiring, she continued giving back by working with preschool children at her church.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, George Andrew Wilson, her youngest son Rickey Dewayne Wilson, and her second husband, Charles Leon Bray.

Deleathia leaves behind her greatest pride—her family. She is survived by her two sons, Mickey Denton Wilson and Tim Russell Wilson (friend Patty), and her daughter, Deleathia (Sissy) Garner (Tony). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Keva Hamilton (Michael), Cody Pippin, Amber Fisher (Wallace), Deleathia Eang (Shane), Noel Strickhausen (Dalton), Toni Jones (Matthew), Brittany Lemons, LeAnn Sugg (Chris), Monalisa Gayle, and Trenton Wilson (Georgia); twenty-two great-grandchildren: Audrey, Kyndal, Myleigh, Saige, Jaise, Leo, Nala, Ezra, Jamhal, Justin, Jaylin, Jackson, Jeslyn, Jendayia, Jonah, Emmy, Caitee, Chandler, Dayson, Josiah, Jayton, and Elora; and two great-great-grandchildren, Luca and Malechai.
