Delanna Yvonne Lee

November 25, 1960 March 13, 2026

Dayton, TX

Delanna Yvonne Lee, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Dayton, Texas, at the age of 65. Born on November 25, 1960, in Houston, Texas, she lived a life marked by warmth, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures she held dear.

Those who knew Delanna experienced a spirit as big and bold as Texas itself. She found joy in quiet afternoons with her favorite daytime soaps, cheering for the heroes in classic westerns, and most of all, gathering around a table filled with smoky, slow-cooked barbecue. Her love of good food and good company made her home a welcoming place where family and friends always felt at ease.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Morris Boone and Luna Faye Plummer, her brother Boyd Boone Jr., her sister Alanna Wars, her devoted husband Donald Ernest Lee, her son Shannon Lloyd Lee, her daughter Amy Lynette Lee, and her grandson Shane Michael Graves.

Delanna is survived by her brothers Jesse Boone and his wife Laurie, Danny Boone and his wife Roschel, and her sister Lynette Boone Barton and her husband John. She leaves behind her sons Donnie, James, and Justin Lee, as well as her grandchildren Kyle Cubbison and his wife Krystin, Ivis Graves and his wife Rebecca, Joseph Lee, David Graves, Ernest Graves and his wife Maddie, and William Robinson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Layla Waller, Cayden Cubbison, and Ivis Graves Jr., along with countless nieces and nephews who brought her great joy. Her dearest best friend, Angela, remained a constant blessing throughout her life. Delanna’s memory will live on in every family gathering, every shared meal, and every western sunset that recalls her gentle and enduring spirit.
