Delaney Christensen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 16, 2026.DELANEY CHRISTENSEN It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Delaney Ann Christensen, who left us on March 12, 2026, at the age of 43 in Loveland, Colorado.Born on January 19, 1983, in Salem, Oregon, Delaney grew up surrounded by family and friends, carrying that same spirit of love and kindness throughout her entire life. She was known for her warm heart, her strength, and her unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Whether through her infectious laughter, her comforting words, or her selfless care for others, she left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.Delaney's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her children: Baylee, Dominick, Jordin and Paxlyn. She loved them with a fierce, protective devotion and would have done anything for them. She took immense pride in watching her boys grow up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, finding her greatest fulfillment in being their biggest supporter as they built their lives there. Some of her favorite memories were made outdoors with her family-whether spending sunny days at Lions Park and the Botanical Gardens, watching fireworks light up the Wyoming sky, or enjoying the simple, messy fun of tie-dyeing shirts together.Delaney often spoke fondly of her time in Oregon and the friends who became her chosen family. Jed, Ricky, Jessi, Aubrey, and TJ were her extended siblings, sharing countless adventures that shaped her life. Perhaps their greatest shared adventure was when Delaney and Jed welcomed their first child, Baylee, into the world-a moment that forever wove their lives together in the fibers of the universe. With Delaney's electric personality and unwavering faith in her sense of family, just as she did in Oregon, her adventures would bring her to Wyoming where she would once again draw people to her that would become her family. She gained another sister, Laura, which would result in gaining another brother, Ben. Ultimately leading to two beautiful nephews Zachary and Brayden which she loved as they were her own. Jordyn is another person Delaney became very close with. Their friendship started small and eventually became an iconic relationship in Delaney's life.Whenever speaking of her family, Delaney shines like the North Star becoming a beacon and safe haven for everyone. Delaney's light continues to shine bright in everyone who was privileged to know her.She is lovingly survived by her children Baylee Christensen (David), Dominick Christensen, Jordin Elston (Taylor), and Paxlyn, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.Delaney joins Susan Tinajero, who loved her and the kids like her own, and together they leave a legacy of unconditional love, devotion to family, and the strength of bonds that will never be broken. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
