Debra Mae Gillespie

Debra Mae Gillespie of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 55. She was a beloved member of her community whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her mother, Carol Holley; her daughter, Michelle Gillespie; her brother, Donald Blakeley (Tina); and her nephew, Dillon Blakeley, Debra is survived by her children, Derrick Blakeley (Jesseca), Kayla Blakeley (Rogelio), and Kristen Blakeley; and her siblings, Darold Blakeley (Tina), Daniel Martin (Alyssa), and Deanna Holley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Throughout her life, Debra remained deeply connected to her family, finding joy in the relationships that defined her world. Her presence brought warmth and steadiness to those closest to her, and she leaves behind a legacy carried forward by her children and siblings who loved her dearly.
