Debra Mabury

Debra Mabury, 59, of Miami, passed away at her home on March 13, 2026. Born on June 12, 1966, in Joplin, Missouri, to Ron and Rose (Roberts) Grissom, she graduated from Joplin High School with the Class of 1984. On May 28, 1988, she married Chris Mabury, the love of her life. For 24 years she worked as a manager at the Pizza Hut Express in Miami.

Debra found joy in playing Pokémon and, above all, cherished every moment spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Grissom.

She is survived by her husband Chris Mabury; her father Ron Grissom and stepmother Deborah Grissom; her children Samantha Shelby and husband Brad, Cameron Mabury and wife Briana, Brandon Mabury and wife Sarah, Nicholas Mabury and wife Samantha, and Charlee Deaton; her sister Angie Ryals; and her grandchildren Dakota Marling, Theoden Shelby, Dante Shelby, Conner Mabury, Cloud Mabury, Everly Mabury, Xander Mabury, Oliver Mabury, and Maizey Mabury. A private celebration of life will be held by her family and friends.
