Honoring Debra's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Maple Run Club House at 2000 Maple Run Blvd. Clio, Michigan from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.Debra was born April 25, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Patricia (Fenner) LaValley. She grew up in Davison, Michigan and graduated from Davison High School with the class of 1971. On July 4, 2001 she married Robert Gulick in Tampa, Florida and he preceded her in death. Prior to her retirement in 2002, Debra worked for GM on the line with 30 years of service. She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, and traveling. Debra loved the holidays and always made it special for her family. She always put others before herself and loved helping people.Surviving are: Children, Clay (Kim) Barry, Ted (Kathy) Petropoulos; Grandchildren, Alex Petropoulos, Becky Barry, Jenna Crossman; several great grandchildren; Siblings, Brenda (Rob) Wilson, Tony LaValley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Robert Gulick; Son, John Petropoulos.
