Debra J. Dawson, age 63, of Greenville, passed away on March 11, 2026, at her residence. Born in Washington, D.C., on August 24, 1962, to Clarence H. and Jean P. (Allen) Dawson, Debbie grew up in the Washington area and graduated from North Western High School in Adelphi, Maryland. She later worked as a clerk at the B. P. Convenience Store in Montrose, Virginia, and was also employed by Kern Windows & Doors of Virginia.

Debbie was a person of Episcopalian faith who found joy in shopping, drawing, and cooking. She cherished her cat, Josie, and was remembered as a loving and caring sister, friend, and companion.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Dawson of Wicomico Church, Virginia; her sister, Brenda (Thomas) Lazar of Pasadena, Maryland; her companion, Mike Sinclair of Greenville, who was her devoted caregiver; her niece, Jennifer Lazar; and her nephew, Thomas C. (Melissa) Lazar. She was preceded in death by her parents.
