Debra Faye Cramer

Debra Faye Cramer, 66, of Michigan, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was born on April 9, 1959.

Debra married Jerry Allen Norris on August 20, 1976, and together they raised three children who remained the center of her world. A loving and devoted mother, she devoted her life to providing for her family, offering unwavering support and stability even as she faced her own emotional and physical challenges. She shielded her children from her burdens and consistently placed their needs before her own, demonstrating remarkable strength and protectiveness.

Debra found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She began each morning with a cup of coffee while watching her favorite shows, followed her beloved soap operas—which she affectionately called her “stories”—and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. A dedicated sports fan, she cheered passionately for the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverines. She deeply cherished her family and her pets, making sure those she loved always knew how much they meant to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Batterson; her mother, Patricia Batterson; and her sister, Linda Tyjewski.

Debra is survived by her children, Jerry (Heather) Norris, Amanda (Trent) Kelly, and Jason Norris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Earl (Sharon) Batterson, Jerry (Chris) Batterson, Kathy Jacoby, and Melinda (Dennis) Dennison.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and the profound love she gave to her family. Those who loved her take comfort knowing she is at peace, perhaps enjoying a warm cup of coffee once again with her parents, and they will forever smile when they hear her familiar phrase, “You know!”
