Debra Cage, age 70, of Thrall, Texas, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband, Wilbert Cage, and her cherished family. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and quiet service to others.

Born on September 30, 1955, Debra was the second child of James Lee Anderson and Adelle Montgomery Anderson. Raised in Thrall, Texas, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, a faith that remained the steady foundation of her life. As a stay-at-home mother, Debra devoted herself fully to creating a warm, stable home and embracing new cultures while keeping her family at the center of her world. Later in life, she earned an associate’s degree in medical administration.

Debra later shared a loving marriage with Wilbert Cage, and together they remained faithful members of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. They cherished yearly family cruises, especially their trip to Alaska, along with anniversary road trips, dancing, and finding joy in each other’s company. Known for her quiet strength, gentle warmth, and unwavering devotion, Debra leaves behind a legacy of faith, sacrifice, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Anderson; grandmother, Aira Montgomery; grandfather, Lewis Montgomery; stepdaughter, Kelly Cage; brother, James Lee Anderson Jr.; sister, Janice Anderson; niece, Felicia Mitchell; and parents-in-law, Jim Cage Sr. and Emma (Cage) Kellough.
