Debra A. Fry, 66, of Port Byron, Illinois, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Born Debra Ann Killian on May 30, 1959, in Moline, Illinois, she was the daughter of Clayton Harold and Theresa Francis (Parmentier) Killian. She married Hal Gregory, and together they had two daughters. Though the couple later separated, they remained close friends throughout the years.
Deb was known for her vibrant, outgoing personality. Many will remember her from her years bartending at the Avenue Tap and her more than 15 years working at the Davenport Walmart. A devoted Chicago Bears fan, she found her greatest joy in family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished every moment spent with those closest to her.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy (Joe Gordon) Fry of LeClaire, Iowa, and Angela Fry of Moline; her beloved grandchildren, Scarlet, Morrison, Connor, and DJ; her siblings, Dennis, Sondra, and Michael Killian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald Killian.
