Deborah Snead Tucker

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Snead Tucker of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Ware Snead and Bernard Meriweather Snead, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roger Allen Tucker; her daughter Elizabeth Barnes (James); her sisters, Sandra Hawthorne and Linda Toms; her stepdaughters, Lisa Tucker, Lori Goldwag (Stuart) and Cheryl McGruder (Jon); her grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Michael Stewart, Alexine Polumbo, Jordan Goldwag and Dylan McGruder; and her great grandchild Stella.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (621 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
