December 5, 1955— March 9, 2026
Wetumka, OK
Deborah Jean Broomhall was born on December 5, 1955, to Carl Edward Simmons and Delores Marie (Wade) Simmons. She passed away on March 9, 2026, at her home near Wetumka at the age of 70.
Raised in Tulsa, Deborah married Jimmy William Broomhall on August 25, 1972. The couple made their home in Wetumka, where they operated a fruit and vegetable stand on Highway 9 east of town. They later lived in Tulsa and surrounding areas before returning to Wetumka in the early 1980s. While she worked for a time as a home health provider, most of her working life was spent alongside her husband on pipeline jobs.
Deborah found quiet joy in attracting birds and watching them from her big picture window. She also loved attending garage sales, always searching for special treasures she could share with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, who passed just four months earlier on November 7, 2025, her parents, and three siblings, Kathy Broomhall, Sherry Simmons, and Carl Simmons, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Marie Noble and husband Adam of Broken Arrow, Douglas Lee Broomhall of Atoka, and David Wayne Broomhall of Bartlesville; her sister Connie Sue Hodge and husband David of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Baylee, Arianna, and Aiden; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
