Sheridan, AR
Deborah Craft “Debbie” Green of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born on October 6, 1953, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to A.L. and Dorothy Grant Craft. A longtime member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church, she worked for many years at Relyance Bank in Sheridan. Debbie found joy in Crappie fishing, knitting, and playing bingo, yet nothing mattered more to her than her family. Her greatest delight was being present for her grandchildren, whether cheering at ballgames or supporting them in any activity, as long as she was able. She also cherished the tradition she began of giving each family member a Christmas ornament every Thanksgiving, a gesture that reflected how deeply her life revolved around those she loved.
Mrs. Green passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home in Sheridan at the age of 72. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Green.
She is survived by her son, Wade Green of Manhattan, Kansas; daughters Stefannie Pruitt (Daniel), Bridgett Holloway (Brian), and Amanda Green (Les), all of Sheridan; her best friend, David Johns of Sheridan; brother Kenneth Craft (Karen) of Batesville; sister Alfreda Olivera of Batesville; grandchildren Austin Pruitt (Hannah), Justin Pruitt (Hannah Stone), Madison Sellers (Lucas), Braxton Green, Anna Jones, and Avery Bowers; great-grandchildren Lane Sellers and Marley Sellers; and her beloved dog, Gus.
