Deborah Kordon, 75, of Dickinson, passed away Thursday, March, 12, 2026 at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. Services for Deborah are pending with Stevenson Funeral Home.Deborah Ann was born in Dickinson on June 3, 1950, the daughter of Christian and Pauline (Jaeger) Stockert. At the age of three, Deb moved with her family from Washburn to Dickinson. She attended St. Joseph's Grade School and later graduated from Dickinson Central High School. Deb worked at Kiddy Care Daycare for a number of years.

Deborah became the bride to Mark Kordon on June 4, 1982 at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Fairfield. The couple made their home on the ranch west of Fairfield for the next 43 years. Deborah worked with Clowns of America as a professional clown for over 20 years. Clowning and kids were her life passion. She later attended Art School and studied Ukrainian and German embroidery and was involved with the State Council of Arts. Deb enjoyed needlework and knitting and in her earlier days, she enjoyed riding bike and raising money for various charities. Her Faith life was very important to her and she was dedicated to her church. Deb helped as the elevator operator at St. Demetrius. Her caring passion also extended to being a caretaker for her six siblings.

Deb is survived by her husband of 44 years; sisters, Pamela (Tom) Dugan of Gillette, WY, Tamara Thompson of Roseville, MN; brothers, Marvin (Libby) Stockert of FL, Kevin (Kim) Stockert of Dickinson, Jeff Stockert of Aberdeen, SD; brothers-in-law, Kurt Kordon (Kristi Toof), and Mike Garceau; and sister-in-law, Donna (Bruce) Doll.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Pauline Stockert; still-born daughter, Amanda Ann Kordon; brother, Dennis Stockert; nephew, Sean Stockert; sister-in-law, Linda Stockert; mother-in-law, Julia Kordon; father-in-law, John Kordon; and sister-in-law, LaVonne Garceau.
