Deborah Ann Atkinson

Deborah Ann Atkinson of Lebanon passed away on March 12, 2026, at Springview Hospital in Lebanon at the age of 57.

Born on August 26, 1968, in Lebanon to the late George and Mary (Hatcher) Atkinson, Deborah worked for many years with the United States Postal Service in Lebanon. A devoted member of Bethel AME Church in Campbellsville, she found deep fulfillment in her faith and in giving her time to the church. She also cherished simple joys such as bowling and proudly watching her daughter play softball.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Atkinson.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Keira Atkinson of Lebanon; her brother, Anthony Atkinson of Lebanon; her sister, Michelle Evans and husband Rodney of Louisville; and her grand-dog, Bentley. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Karissa, Jamar, Meechie, Javontae and Chanson Atkinson and wife Chloe, Kayla Richerson and husband Chris, and Lisa Allen; her aunt, Alberta Thornton; and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
