June 14, 1955— March 12, 2026
Buhl, ID
Debbra June Baxter passed away March 12th, 2026, at home with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on June 14th, 1955, to Blackie and Curly Neumeyer in Hyannis, Nebraska. Shortly after her sister Bonny was born in 1956, the family moved to Idaho.
Deb graduated from Buhl High School in 1974. It’s been told that Jim and Deb first met when she was 12 years old. At that time, she decided it was best to just throw rocks at him and his friends any time they walked past her house. Now Jim will tell you she was quite the pesky kid back then. But even with all her peskiness, Jim and Deb got married on May 22, 1974. Jim and Deb had three children. Shayna, Joseph and Anthony.
She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, spending time with family, and loving on her grandkids and her favorite doggies, Ollie and Bandit.
Her presence will be greatly missed by her granddaughter Alorra, their special bond grew leaps and bounds after she moved in with them.
Deb is survived by her loving husband Jim; daughter, Shayna (Kent) Schroeder; son, Tony Baxter and Susie Tillotson; grandkids, Eryka (Jeremy Silva), Kayla (Bailey Scruggs), Kaidin (Ashly) Baxter, Alorra Baxter, Manesha Tillotson, Calvin Tillotson, Kira and Amelia Blackburn. Great grandkids; Landon and Brexlee Schroeder. Her sisters; Norma June (Fred) Farson, Bonny Dallman, Elizabeth McCabe, Nancy(Bud) Parks, Cindy(Duane) Heda, Betty Lou, Shirley, and Julie. And her brother, Terry Newman.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Blackie and Curly; her sister, Janet Newman; her son, Joseph Baxter; brothers, Alvin Baxter, Bill Baxter, Keith Baxter, Billy Anderson and Tony Dallman and many other loved ones.
Our family would like to Thank everyone for all their support and kind words as she fought the beast.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Farmers Funeral Chapel in Buhl.
