Debbie Pfannenstiel ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Stinemetz Funeral Home on Mar. 12, 2026.Deborah Ann (Berland) Pfannenstiel, 75, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, surrounded with love by her family.Debbie was born on January 15, 1951, in Stockton, Kansas, to Alverize and Blanche (Kerr) Berland. She graduated from Palco High School in 1969 and on June 12, 1971, married the love of her life, Linus Pfannenstiel. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, hard work, and service to others.Debbie dedicated many years of her life as a homemaker and for 33 years, she was an owner of The Bingo Haus in Hays, Kansas, which she ran with Linus; served as the Damar City Clerk and was the friendly face of the Peach Fam summer fruit sales.Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved being from a large family and shared her joy, laughter and hospitality with her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that felt like family. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, who lovingly referred to her as "Mème." In her free time, Deborah enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, reading, playing dominoes and games, and spending time chatting on the telephone with family and friends.Deb was deeply involved in community life and was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar, KS, and a devoted member of the St. Anne Altar Society.Deborah is survived by her husband, Linus Pfannenstiel; her daughter Tara (Michael) Morrow, Wichita, KS; son Adam (Clista) Pfannenstiel, Wichita, KS; daughter Amy (Tracy) Dible, Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren Jackson (fiancé Kena) Morrow, Emporia, KS; Jacob Pfannenstiel; Luke Morrow; Madisyn Dible; Isabella Pfannenstiel; Brooks Morrow; Holden Dible; Landon Pfannenstiel; and Graeden Dible, all of Wichita, KS, and great grandson Jace "JJ" Morrow, Emporia, KS; her sisters Carolyn (Ken) Dreiling, Manhattan, KS; Roberta Bandt, Erie, CO; her brothers Paul Berland, Manhattan, KS; Vince (Laurita) Berland, Abilene, KS; Bryan (Karen) Berland, Guthrie, OK; sister-in-law Lorraine Berland, Damar, KS.She is preceded in death by her parents, Alverize & Blanche Berland; brothers Harlan Berland and Doug Berland; sisters-in-law Sandra Berland and Sandy Berland and brothers-in-law Leo Dreiling and Lee Bandt.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026. A rosary and visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22nd at 6:30 p.m. both at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Damar, KS. Her ashes will be laid to rest in a burial service with her brother Doug on May 2, 2026 at 10:00 am also at St. Joseph's Church, Damar, Kansas.The family suggests memorials be made in Deb's honor to St. Joseph Catholic Church (107 Oak St, Damar, KS 67632) or to the prolife group at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School-Eagles for Life (8101 West Central, Wichita, KS 67212).Contributions and condolences can also be sent to Stinemetz Funeral Home (522 N.
