Dean Lee Schneider

Dean Lee Schneider of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on January 3, 1952, in Hondo, Texas, to Louis Alfred Schneider and Elinore Marion Randall Schneider, Dean grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep love for the outdoors.

He graduated from Medina Valley High School in 1970 and built a long career in construction, beginning as a concrete finisher before becoming a general contractor. He later served as a construction foreman at SeaWorld for ten years. An avid outdoorsman, Dean also worked as a hunting guide, sharing his knowledge and passion for nature with others.

On October 21, 1972, Dean married Mary Ursula DeCock at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Their marriage spanned fifty-three loving years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Schneider; his siblings, Dana Beck (Joe), Larry Schneider (Wendy), and Julie Schneider; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives. Dean was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Louis Schneider, Jr.
