Dean Faust

Dean Faust, age 66, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake, where he had made his home for the last 20 years.

Born on November 23, 1959, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Benedict “Ben” and Natalie (Duquette) Faust. Dean attended Lightfoot School and worked for many years at RCS and at Sheboygan County Hospital, where he took special pleasure in folding laundry. He enjoyed wrestling in his younger years, bowling, dancing, spending time with babies, attending weddings, and riding his bike. He loved music, particularly Lawrence Welk, and never tired of watching Laurel and Hardy on television.

He is survived by his four sisters, Pattie (Mark) Veldman, Pam (John) Grossheim, Melanie (Todd) Bastian, and Bonnie (Dean) Rabe, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dean was deeply grateful for the loving care provided by his parents, the staff at Gables on the Pond, the Aurora Sheboygan ER team, the EMTs, and Preceptor Hospice, especially Barb.

Dean was an angel on Earth who gave the best hugs and taught those around him to trust and love without condition. His bright smile and playful sassiness will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
