He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Griggs; and his sister Judy Bizoe. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey DeShazo (David) and Jennifer Karbowski (Kalen); and his brothers, Jerry Griggs and Robert Griggs. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
