Dean Alan DeLucca, formerly of Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, New Hampshire, after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Born on May 8, 1961, in Laconia, Dean was the son of the late SSGT Robert P. DeLucca and Shirley Edith (Marsh) DeLucca.
A 1980 graduate of Laconia High School, Dean went on to earn Associate’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Crime and Loss Prevention from Hesser College. He served his country as a proud U.S. Army veteran, attaining the rank of Corporal with the 26th MP CO Army/ARNG. He later worked as a police officer with the Meredith and Gilford Police Departments. Dean found great joy in fishing, hunting, drumming, and studying history. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and the Free Masons, Mt. Lebanon Lodge #32.
Dean is survived by his sisters, Toni Cushman and her husband John of Kingston, Massachusetts, Lori Fasshauer and her husband Alan of Laconia, New Hampshire, and Dena DeLucca of Sanbornton, New Hampshire; his daughter, Jenna DeLucca of Gilford, New Hampshire; his nieces and nephews, Jason Fasshauer, Jillian Fasshauer and her partner Alex De La Cruz, Rene Camerato and her husband Mark, Jackie Cushman, Casey Cushman, and Katie Fornicari; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Matthew, Michael, Isabelle, Viviana, and Daniela. He was predeceased by his infant sister, Tina Leigh DeLucca, in addition to his parents.
