Family and friends may call at the funeral home. FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, WRENS in charge.James Henry Felder, 69, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of God. Born July 5, 1956, in Blacksville, South Carolina, to Christine (Henry) Clark and James David Felder, James was a proud graduate of Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, Class of 1975, and later earned his degree from Florida A&M University.A man of strong faith, he served as a steadfast and dedicated Deacon at Ways Grove Baptist Church. James was also known for his love of golf and his warm, welcoming spirit.He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Betty Brown Felder, and a dedicated father who cherished his family.He is survived by his wife, Betty Brown Felder; children Jamaal (Chelsia) Felder, Kelecea Felder, Lakia Felder, and Javenski Hilton; grandchildren Tristan Felder, Ava Felder, and Deven Yates; siblings Areatha (Dexter) Kitchen, Louise (Willie) Burr, Betty Gray, Clarence (Londa) Clark, and Renea (Maurice) Penix; along with a beloved aunt and mother figure Earline Ellison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
