Dayton Lavon Kitchens, age 58, of Kensett, Arkansas, passed away on March 12, 2026, at The Blossoms at Oakdale in Judsonia, Arkansas.
Born on May 27, 1967, in De Queen, Arkansas, Dayton was a longtime member of Westside Church of Christ in Dierks. For 13 years he served as a high school football coach across Arkansas, touching the lives of countless young athletes through his dedication and guidance. He was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book and, above all, treasured the time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dwight and Lenora Pinkerton Kitchens.
Dayton is survived by his wife, Amy Kitchens of Kensett; his daughter, Annalee Worley, and granddaughter, Ellory Worley, both of Judsonia; his sisters, Debra Laster (Dan) of Texarkana, Donna Blubaugh (David) of Lavon, Texas, and Deanna Davis (Mike) of Stamps; and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory.
