Dayna

Dayna passed away too suddenly on Monday, March 9, 2026, and has gone to be with her mother. The two shared a bond that went far beyond mother and daughter; they were best friends, more like sisters, and remained inseparable throughout their lives.

Like her mother, Dayna possessed a deep capacity for love, care, and compassion that was immediately evident to everyone she met. She brought a vibrant energy to everything she did and had a remarkable ability to offer light and comfort to others during their most difficult times, even while facing her own life struggles. For more than 25 years she worked at Woodingford Lodge, where her genuine compassion shone through. The residents held a special place in her heart; she understood the sacrifices they had made to give future generations the lives they now enjoy. She worked tirelessly to bring smiles to their faces on days when there seemed little to smile about, and her heart broke each time one of them passed. She will be deeply missed by them all.

Dayna is survived by her son Terrell, the greatest love of her life; her partner David Robinson, who brought her such joy and security, and his daughter Jada; her big brother Dean, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of mutual support, along with Jodie, Eric, Taylor, Brandy, Emma, Kylie, and Khloe; her father Don; her sister Collette (Walter) and her sons Tom, Travis, and Taven and their families; as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Kathy.
