Dayle was born in Tyler, Texas, on July 16, 1941, to JD and Bernice Majors. He was raised and attended school in Tyler. After graduating high school, he received his bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1965 from Texas A&M University. Gig 'Em Aggies! Upon graduation he moved to Dallas, Texas and began working in the up-and-coming computer industry. This began a 40 plus years career. While working in Dallas, he met the love of his life, Clara. They married in 1970 and spent the next 56 years in love. They raised 4 children Don, Gary, Kimberly, and Loriand was preceded in death by their son, Eric. Dayle lived for Mathematics and the search for knowledge and answers available through it. He went on to earn a master's degree in mathematics in 1974 and a master's degree in computer sciencein 2003. He treasured his family and his relationship with Jesus, his savior. He was currently a member of Regency Park Baptist Church, Moore, Oklahoma, where he served where called upon including being a member of the choir. He loved to sing, he loved to travel, but most importantly he loved his wife and seeing his family grow. Dayle was preceded in death by his parents JD and Bernice Majors, his twin brother Doyle, and his son Eric. He is survived by his wife, Clara, his sons Don and Gary, his daughters Kimberly and Lori, his grandchildren Dustin, Ian, and Sarah, great grandchild Penelope and his sister Anita, and brothers Joe and Paul.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
