Dawn Meadow McNeal

Dawn Meadow McNeal of Yampa, Colorado, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 27 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Born in Reno, Nevada, she was the only child of Wanda McNeal and grew up in Oak Creek, Colorado. During her school years at Soroco High School, Dawn played volleyball and wrestled. She loved camping, being outdoors, and cherished the time she spent with her many friends.

Her daughter, Hope Sowers, was the light of her life. Dawn is survived by her mother, Wanda, her daughter, Hope, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends and extended family who will forever hold her memory dear.

Dawn and her beautiful smile will be deeply missed yet lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
