Dawn Mable Whitcomb-Hamblin Obituary March 6, 2026 - Gorden Funeral Residence

Dawn Mable Whitcomb-Hamblin of Allegan, MI, passed at Beacon (Borgess) of Kalamazoo, on March 6, 2026. Dawn was born to her late parents Robert and Janet (Wendt) Whitcomb on August 25, 1954, in Grand Rapids, MI. After graduating high school, she met her significant other Keith Wash and shared over 35 years together. Growing up, her favorite past time was spending time outdoors with her horses, grooming them, riding or just walking with them, bringing peace to her soul. Dawn also loved motorcycles, taking trips up and down the coast of Southwest Michigan whenever weather permitted. She was known as Hantie by her adoring nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dawn loved her family fiercely and will be remembered always in the hearts of those she touched.She is survived by her significant other, Keith Wash; son, Cole Wash; sister, Robin Nation; grandchildren, Jade Turcott-Lorback and Christian Whitcomb; nephew, Levi (Allyson) Nation, and niece Ava Nation; great-nieces and nephews, Torei Nation, Royce Nation, Felix Nation, Weston Nation, Zayne Kern and Zander Kern.She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Josephine Lorback.Cremation has taken place and a memorial service at a later time.
