Dawn Cleo Mazzuca

Dawn Cleo Mazzuca of Allentown passed away on March 8, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the loving wife of Ronald J. Mazzuca for forty-one years. Born on April 1, 1960 in Reading, Pennsylvania, Dawn was the daughter of the late Cleo and Kenneth Welder. A 1978 graduate of Kutztown High School, she went on to earn her nursing degree from Lehigh County Community College.

Dawn devoted thirty-six years to her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lehigh Valley Health Network. She cared for her patients with compassion, skill, and grace, offering comfort and gentle support to countless individuals and families facing the challenges of kidney disease. Beyond her professional life, she was a devoted wife and a loving aunt who treasured time spent with family. An enthusiastic Boston Bruins fan, she enjoyed following professional hockey.

Dawn was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown. She is survived by her husband Ronald, her sister-in-law John Mazzuca and his wife Anne, her sister-in-law Alba Mazzuca, and her cherished nieces and nephews David, Diana, Michael, Matthew, Marisa, and Kara.
