David William Gulliver, age 73, of Miramichi, passed away suddenly on March 9, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Ann (Jones) Gulliver; his children, Dale (Crystal) and Darcy (Heather); his grandchildren, Andrew, Hailey, Ivy and Rose, who knew him as “App”; his sisters, Connie (Pat) Hannah and Brenda (Bradley) Curtis; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Molly.
David spent his career in the mill industry. He began at a young age at Burchill’s Mill, later worked at Atcon Plywood where he earned his Red Seal Welding certification and Millwright designation, and finished his working years at EnviRem Organics. He took great pride in his trade and formed many lasting friendships during his time at EnviRem, always speaking highly of the men he worked alongside.
He loved the outdoors, particularly fishing and spending time at camp, though he was equally content at home. Known for his quick wit and ready sense of humour, David could always be counted on for a sharp comment or a good laugh. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and his deep enjoyment of the woods and camp life.
