David Stanford Jarvis

David Stanford Jarvis, born February 13, 1958, in Salt Lake City to Stanford and Marjorie Jarvis, passed away on March 9, 2026, at Midtown Manor Care Facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. A graduate of Cyprus High School who later earned his GED, David was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints known for his love and compassion.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Barrett (Stephen), and his brothers, Brent Jarvis and Steven Jarvis. He also leaves behind nephews Nick Jarvis, Jason Jarvis (Shanon), and Kyle Barrett, as well as nieces Kendall Barrett and Megan Schoenwald (Colin). David was preceded in death by his parents, Marge and Stan Jarvis.

Those who knew him will remember the gentle, caring man who touched many lives through his kindness and quiet strength. A celebration of life will be held for David at a future date.
