David Sherwood

David Sherwood of Plymouth passed away at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the age of 45.

Born in Weymouth on April 2, 1980, David was the beloved son of Arthur and Alice (Furtado) Sherwood of Plymouth. Raised and educated in Plymouth, he graduated from Plymouth North High School and remained a lifelong resident of the community he held dear. He worked for many years in construction, specializing in roofing throughout the greater Plymouth and Cape Cod area. Colleagues admired his strong work ethic, steady hands, and quiet dependability.

David found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He held a deep appreciation for nature and animals, and he cherished the peaceful moments spent caring for his beloved dog, Laney. Above all, his heart belonged to his family. He was a devoted uncle to his three nieces, Kendall, Kamryn, and Karter, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He treasured every moment spent in their company.

In addition to his loving parents, Arthur and Alice, David is survived by his brother, Keith Sherwood, and his wife, Debbie, all of Plymouth, along with their daughters, Kendall, Kamryn, and Karter. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of family, and the quiet kindness with which he moved through the world.
