David Scott Mauldin Sr.

David Scott Mauldin Sr., age 51, of Scott, Arkansas, died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock. Born on October 7, 1974, in North Little Rock, he worked as a plumber and iron worker. David found joy in hunting and fishing, working on projects, and most of all, spending time with the people he loved.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe A. Mauldin, Mary Mauldin, and Paul Gregg.

David is survived by his four children, Megan Mauldin and her husband Jonathan Tillery of Russellville, David Scott Mauldin Jr. of Mayflower, Rebeckah Maier and her husband Zach of Stuttgart, and Joe David Mauldin and his fiancée Emma Draper of Sherwood; his parents, Joe Roger Mauldin of Maumelle and Cheryl Gregg Lewis of Jacksonville; his grandmother, Barbara Wilkins Gregg of Jacksonville; his five siblings, Mike Mauldin and his wife Brandie of Camden, Mick Langley and his wife Joyce of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Christy White of Benton, Steve Lewis and his wife Wendy of Alexandria, Virginia, and Matthew Lewis of Lubbock, Texas; his longtime companion, Bobby Joe Meadows of Keo; seven beloved grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Dixie.
