David R. Morrison

David R. Morrison passed away after a brief illness at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, on March 9, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on May 20, 1961, in Troy, Pennsylvania, Dave spent 36 years serving as Road Foreman for Granville Township, where he was known for his hard work and steadfast commitment to his community. In his earlier years, he also drove a school bus, bringing the same dedication and care to that role.

Dave had a deep passion for classic cars and motorcycles, often taking long trips to enjoy the open road. He found great joy in snowmobiling and riding four-wheelers, embracing the outdoors whenever he could. Family picnics created many of his fondest memories. In his younger days, he also enjoyed bowling and throwing horseshoes, activities that brought him both fun and relaxation.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard and Janice (Kalo) Morrison. Dave is survived by his cherished daughter, Nikki Putnam, and her husband Eric, of Canton, Pennsylvania. His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren, Nicholas, Mark, and Charlotte. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Mike Morrison and his wife Lori of Granville Summit, and Dale Morrison of Troy, as well as his nieces and nephews, Krystle, Derrike, Dillon, and Brittany, and his great-nephew August. Dave also leaves behind his cousin Billy Page and his wife Kathy, with whom he shared many special moments over the years.
