He was born February 18, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana to Curtis and Betty (Darrah) Day. David is survived by his children Suzanne Day-Danford of Centennial, Colorado, Michael Day of North Lawrence, Ohio, David Day of Michigan City, and Mark A. (Michelle) Day of Michigan City; two grandchildren Nancy and Thomas, his brother Dan (Karen) Day of LaPorte and his sister Darilyn (Jim) Wozniak also of LaPorte. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie (Miller) Day and his parents. David was a retired Pipefitter from Pipefitter's Local #597. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Otis. David was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Westville American Legion Post #21. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 20th at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Rev. John Zemelco will officiate. Burial will be in Pinhook Cemetery.
