Funeral services for David Paul Steffey, age 70, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2026, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery with the United States Naval Honors Team will providing military honors.
David was born August 3, 1955, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Paul Vernon and Evelyn (Larson) Steffey, and passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, in Oklahoma City.
David was a long-time resident of Enid. He graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1973. He enlisted with the United States Navy and served his country until being honorably discharged in 1976. David was part of the motorcycle community for years and made many friends who shared his love for riding. He never missed a charitable bike run and has attended many bike rallies such as Sturgis and Sparks. He loved to ride and the people he met along the way. He also was a pool and billiard player and participated in tournaments around town and elsewhere. David's friends always said if you needed anything, he was always there for them.
He was a long-time member of Davis Park Church. As a young boy, David had a perfect attendance record of twelve years.
David is preceded in death by his father, Paul Steffey. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Steffey, of Enid, sister Debbie White and husband Bruce, of Enid, nieces Christina Jessup and husband Quintin, of Enid, Larissa Stegeman and husband Brian, of Enid, and two great-nieces, Avelyn and Alivia Stegeman, well as a host of friends.
