David Michael Burcham

David Michael Burcham, a dedicated businessman and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at his home in Mulliken, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 3, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan, he was the son of Robert and Viola (Campbell) Burcham. David lived a life defined by hard work, motivation, and quiet perseverance that shaped both his personal and professional endeavors.

A proud graduate of Grand Ledge High School, class of 1977, David married Mary Elizabeth Bigford on June 28, 1980. He was the owner and operator of Burcham Enterprises, where his expertise and steadfast commitment left a lasting impression on those he worked with and the broader community.

Above all, David cherished his family, and his deep love for them remained the cornerstone of his life. Those who knew him will remember his strong work ethic balanced by a warm and supportive nature, along with his passion for traveling that reflected his curious spirit and zest for life.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Jamie (Leeann) Burcham and David (Theresa) Burcham; grandchildren, Ty Burcham, Noah Holland, Ava Burcham, and Carlee Burcham; parents, Robert and Viola Burcham; siblings, Robert (Marlene) Burcham, Wendy Burcham, and Lisa (Robert) Burcham; brother-in-law, Guy (Karen) Bigford; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Yaw and Melanie (George) Garrett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
