He was the only son born to Merrill David and Shirley Ann (Melnyk) Landuyt. On October 14, 1972 David married Christine "Tina" Czerniawski at Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Hamtramck, Michigan. David was a carpenter for the local union for over 27 years. He loved going on cruises with Tina's family, and watching sports like tennis, golf and hockey. He loved playing darts on a league where he was fondly known as "bullseye man". Davids greatest joy was sitting with Smokey who he affectionately names Missy Pants. David will be deeply missed by those who knew him.Beloved husband of Tina; loving cat dad of Smokey; brother of Suzette (the late David) Loewer; son-in-law of Dolores (the late Peter) Czerniawski; brother-in-law of Pat Deneszczuk, the late Annie (Joe) Harris, Linda Czerniawski and Peter Czerniawski; nephew of Ozzie and Rachel Landuyt; uncle of Heather (the late Shaun) Baker, Lindsey (Nick) Foster and Brendin Loewer; great-uncle of Kailey, Isabella, Madelyn, JP and Mary Helen; and dear friend and cousin Arlene Stevens.
