David was born on January 1, 1955, in West Virginia to the late Claude and Ida (Stumbel) Denton. He worked for over 44 years as a truck driver for Webcrafters in Madison, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. David married Gladys Bedoya Valencia on March 17, 2023, in Edgerton, WI.David is survived by his wife, Gladys Valencia; his son, Zach (Jeremy Walden) Denton; and extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Jimy Denton, Penny Cregger, Jean Popwich, and Charles Denton.David will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty, and dedication to those he loved. Outside of work, he appreciated the simple things in life: time spent at home, conversations with family and friends, and the comfort of familiar routines. He showed his care through his steady presence, kindness, and support for those around him.He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, riding his UTV, gardening and simply being outside whenever he could. These moments brought him great happiness and were often shared with family and friends.David's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.Arrangements are pending with the Albrecht Funeral Homes, Edgerton.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
