Lee, 60, of Burlington, Iowa, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.Born on June 15, 1965, in Kewanee, Illinois, he was the son of Richard Lee and Jean Crotts. On August 6, 2011, in Burlington, Iowa, he married Tiyger Baldwin.David was a 1984 graduate of Union High School in Biggsville, Illinois. He was a United States Navy veteran. He worked for Tenneco as a machine operator for 12 years leading up to his sickness. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with Tiyger and his brother Don. Every year David looked forward to helping raise money for the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice, hospice motorcycle ride fundraiser. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife Tiyger; four children: David Lee of Texas, Shay Waddle of Virginia, Tiffany (Eric) Wiles of Georgia and Kenny Baldwin of Nebraska; nine grandchildren: Kennedy, Mack, Briella, Orion, Brentley, Graysen, Rainer, Eric Jr. and Hailey; mother Jean Crotts; six siblings: Philip (Mary) McKune of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Janet (Ron Woodley) Rice of Washington, Iowa, Jane McKune of Washington, Iowa, Diana McKune of Stronghurst, Illinois, Dan McKune of Oquawka, and Don (Linda Sears) McKune of Burlington. Also surviving is his best bulldog, Harley.He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and five brothers.Per his wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.No services will be held at this time.A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice.
