David J. Heckman of New Britain, Connecticut, passed away on March 14, 2026 at the age of 76.
He was predeceased by his parents, Veronica Heckman and George B. Heckman, his spouse Sandy Davis, and his sisters, Mary Margaret McCormick and JoAnne Heckman.
David is survived by his stepdaughters, Heidi Charette and Melissa Babinski, his grandchildren, Madison and Alanis Charette, his great-grandchild Weston Steck, and his siblings, George, Brian, Kevin, James, Timothy, Maureen Heckman, Patricia Portante, and Eileen Gagliardi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as a devoted family man who cherished the bonds he shared with his loved ones across generations.
