David Dragon ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home on Mar. 5, 2026.David H. Dragon, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.Born in Winchester, MA on June 6, 1966, he was one of three children to Irene (Karalius) Dragon and the late Henry Dragon. Dave was raised in Burlington, and graduated from Burlington High School with the Class of 1984. Following his education, he dove right into his career with QPL as a sales representative. Dedication and loyalty were two traits Dave exemplified, and that could be seen by the 41 years he spent with QPL prior to his passing. He was truly a hardworking and devoted employee who cared deeply for both those he worked for, and those he worked with.In his free time, Dave loved nothing more than having the opportunity to get out on the golf course. He was an avid golfer his entire life, and found great solace being out on the greens with his friends. He was also a loyal New England sports fan, and although he loved all his teams, the Patriots had a special place in his heart. He also enjoyed fishing around Massachusetts and New Hampshire any chance he got. Above all else though, Dave was a deeply kind, caring, and compassionate person. He was the kind of son who made it a point to call his mother several times a day just to check in, and never had any problem running errands or being around when she needed him. He was a devoted brother, son, partner, and friend who's attentiveness and love touched so many lives.Along with his dear mother, Irene, Dave is survived by his beloved siblings, Leslie Dragon and her husband Todd White of N. Carolina, and Patrice Allen and her husband James of Lowell; his nephew Christopher and his niece Melissa; his beloved partner of 15 years, Michele Gaudette, as well as many other dear family members and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 6th from 4 pm until 6 pm. His Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7th at 11 am with his Funeral Mass to follow at 12 pm at St. Margaret's Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's honor may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada St #201, Newton, MA 02460.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
