David Ford

David Ford, age 80, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on October 6, 1945, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he spent many years as a machinist at Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems before retiring. A longtime member of St. Francis De Sales Parish in Akron, David found great joy in his dogs and proudly showed them in competitions throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Aileen Ford. David is survived by his loving wife, Loretta; his sister, Sandra D’Angelo of Springfield, Missouri; his brothers, Rodney (Mary) Ford of Norton, Ohio, and Keith Ford of Green, Ohio; his nephew, Jeff; and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.
