David F. Ollivier

David Floyd Ollivier, 63, of Beach Haven, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Throughout his year-long fight, David faced chemotherapy and radiation with remarkable strength, determination, and resilience. He will be remembered for his deep love of family, his passion for the outdoors, and the legacy of hard work and adventure he leaves behind. A talented custom builder, he took great pride in his craft and in creating with his hands. David found his greatest joy near the water and in nature, where he excelled as a surfer, skateboarder, fisherman, hunter, and skier. Those who knew him were inspired by his genuine spirit and beautiful soul.

He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Cranmer Ollivier; his daughter, Allison MacGillivray and her husband Dean MacGillivray Jr.; his son, David Ollivier and his wife Emily Adams Ollivier; his sister, Judy Kuffell-Ollivier; his brother, Dan Ollivier; and the mother of his children, Henrietta Holden-Ollivier. David was a devoted grandfather to Audrey and Dean III MacGillivray, and he eagerly awaited the arrival of his son’s first child, a granddaughter. He was predeceased by his father, Alan, and his brother, Alan Jr. His family will forever cherish the laughter, memories, and lessons he shared with them.
