David F. Bally

David F. Bally, 60, of Taunton, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on March 10, 2026 after a sudden illness. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Susan Bally, who was the love of his life.

Raised in Mystic, Connecticut, Dave moved to Massachusetts to attend Northeastern University, where he ran on the track team while earning his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He settled on the South Shore, built a career dedicated to helping others, and later opened his own practice, Southeast Physical Therapy in Braintree. Colleagues and patients alike remembered his warmth and gentle sense of humor, which put people at ease and brought laughter even during difficult recoveries. Dave loved traveling, camping, telling jokes, spending time with family, and hiking the trails with his Golden Retriever, Luna.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his parents, David and Patricia Bally; his stepson, Christopher Lee; his stepdaughter, Keri Lee-Clancy, and son-in-law, Mathew Clancy; and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Declan, and Cole.

A private celebration of life was held in his honor.
