David Charles Dickson

David Charles Dickson, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly at 7:42 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center.

Born on December 3, 1951, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Charles Earl and Emma Ruth Kiggans Dickson, David served his country with pride in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He found simple joys in playing his guitar and taking peaceful car rides through the countryside.

He was preceded in death by his son, his daughter, his parents, and other extended family members. David is survived by his dear friends Nichole Pummel and Ashley Quickel, who will carry forward the memories of his quiet strength and gentle spirit.

A military graveside service conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard will be held at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery’s Soldiers Square Columbarium.
