David Clark ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Paulk Funeral Home - Fitzgerald on Mar. 16, 2026.David Britt Clark, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, March 13, 2026, at his residence.Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Walter Brooks officiating.Mr. Clark was born November 11, 1957, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late L.B. & Gwendolyn Tomberlin Clark. He was a 1975 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. He co-owned Clark's Kawasaki and worked as a mechanic on four-wheelers and motorcycles at his home. He worked for the past several years with Al Glenn's tree service. Mr. Clark enjoyed drag racing motorcycles all across the country and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His parents were charter members of St. Peters United Methodist Church. A very talented artist, he painted murals in all of the Sunday school rooms at St. Peters.He is survived by cousins Mike Sherret of Fitzgerald, Gerry Lynn Griffin of Fitzgerald, Ronald Wayne Culpepper of Abbeville, and James Stanley of Fitzgerald; a son by choice, Shane Jones of Irwin County; and many lifelong devoted friends including: Scott King, Jim Womack, Chris Cook, and Mike Hendley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Robert L.
