St. Peters, MO
David Boyd Cochran, born September 13, 1962, passed away on March 9, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Known affectionately as “Mr. Fix It” and “Doctor Do,” David took great pride in his ability to tackle any repair or project that came his way. His love for the outdoors shone through in his enthusiasm for camping and spending time in nature’s beauty. He found special joy in cooking and barbecuing for family and friends, believing the best moments in life happened around good food and good company. No one ever left his table hungry, and his meals created memories that will be cherished forever. He also delighted in holiday celebrations, bringing warmth and cheer to those around him. A devoted sports fan, he loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the St. Louis Cardinals with infectious enthusiasm. Yet above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Cochran; his son, Tyler Carlson (Taylor Carlson); and his three daughters, Terra Cochran (Preston Arthur), Erika Cochran (Nick Hepperman), and Madison Cochran (Kyle Auchly). He will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Sophia, Connor, and Finley Carlson, who brought light and laughter into his life. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Cochran, his sister, Tracy Cochran, his mother-in-law, Teddy Liska, and many other cherished family members and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ellen Cochran, his in-laws, James and Norma Sparkman, and his sisters, Debbie Cooper and Terri Long.
